Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is an Mexican American musician and popular actress. When she was a kid Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by American citizens of all races. When she attended a 9th grade school audition where she was praised for her singing and acoustics, she began to gain confidence. The singer not only gained confidence from the experience however, she also re-evaluate her career goals. She was a graduate of New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. She started her professional journey at age 23 with Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and The You've Got Mail film. The most notable achievement of her career was when she played The Lady of The Lake on Spamalot's first Broadway production. She did not only get the Tony Award, but her performance was also highly praised by the critics. In the following year, when she was Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC her role was given greater fame. Apart from being an acclaimed singer she also released her own solo album as well as an extended version. Also, she's an activist and works hard in the fight for LGBT rights.
