Dwayne "The The Rock" Johnson was born 1972, into a wrestling family. World Wrestling Entertainment. As a wrestler for the World Wrestling (W.W.E. In multiple occasions, he was awarded the Heavyweight title. Johnson later turned his wrestling popularity into a film professional. in 2001 The Mummy Returns was made available and then in 2010 Tooth Fairy. Johnson also appeared in the HBO series Ballers as well as prominent roles in The Fast & Furious Franchise and Jumanji Sequels were some of his later films. Maui, the voice actor of Disney's Moana and the Fast & Furious sequels was also a part in this project. We can only say that we're grateful to have a superstar like The Rock. Dwayne D. Johnson was born in Hayward California on May 2 1972. He's the son of pro wrestler Rocky Johnson and his mother Ata. In the 60s and 70s, his maternal grandpa, Peter Maivia rose to prominence in the professional world as the High Chief. Johnson was a frequent traveler with his parents a great deal during his childhood and watched his dad wrestle. Johnson began playing football during the years of high school and soon he was awarded full scholarships to the University of Miami where he was a star. He graduated with a Bachelor of General Studies degree in criminology and physiology the same year.
