Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the only woman to be crowned the winner of the CrossFit Games twice. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and media celebrity. Her fame has been built on being the only woman who has ever won twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. Winner in both the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie was born in and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. At a very early time, she was a fervent sports enthusiast and loved doing exercises. She was awarded numerous medals in school competitions. In 2009, she participated in CrossFit events in California. Her first results were good. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. She is 5'7" tall and weighs about 67 kg. Annie started CrossFit in California 2009. She performed well in initial races and placed in the top 10 out of 70. But she did not win an award and ended the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Coach Jami Tikannen guided her to the second position at the CrossFit Games, and a medal in the silver category that year. It was in her second year of competition that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she became the first woman who won CrossFit Games. Annie, who had an outstanding 2012. CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to win each of the CrossFit Games. In addition, she was awarded a medal of silver in 2014 as well as the bronze medal at CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was created by Annie. Annie is getting recognition for her athletic skills, is featured in ads for athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs and other. Aside from that, she also has her own Youtube channel which has around a thousand followers where her workout diet videos, family as well as travel videos are posted.
