Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul performer, writer and actress. She's the winner of numerous awards including one Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for an Academy Award. Andra Day, an accomplished singer-songwriter with roots in gospel music and blues that has a zeal for the modern world is a strong performer and an incredibly talented songwriter. Her first album Cheers To The Autumn (2015), was hugely popular in the hip-hop/R&B genre. It also earned her numerous Grammy and Academy Award nominations. In 2019 she released her sophomore album The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album on the life of the legendary jazz vocalist. Also, she appeared in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film on Holiday. Andi Matichak, an American actress. She debuted in the film Halloween in the role of Allyson following her appearance in various television shows, including Orange Is the New Black (Orange is the new black) 666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue) as well as Blue Bloods as well as Orange is the new black.
